Las Vegas for Romance!

Recently we found out Las Vegas isn’t just for gambling! We had 3 exciting nights of fun and romance! There are many opulent hotels on the strip, but we picked the Bellagio, which turned out to be wonderful! We walked into the gorgeous lobby and saw an incredible Dale Chihuly chandelier and knew we were in the right place! We were taken to our beautiful room which overlooked the dancing water fountain in the front of the hotel, which we enjoyed watching each evening.

During the daytime, we lounged at the beautiful pool area where we also enjoyed massages and food & drink service. When the day turns into night, there is lots to enjoy! We took a long, leisurely walk on the brightly lit strip, soaking up all it’s excitement. We kept looking for The Flying Elvi, but unfortunately we didn’t even see one flying around!

We ended up at Fremont, which is the “historic” area where Las Vegas started and enjoyed walking on the plaza with a LED show over our heads and played in some of the penny machines- and won! We had a fabulous dinner at Raku, which is over the top Asian cuisine. Another night we got tickets to a Cirque de Soleil show and both of us enjoyed it immensely! Our last night we decided to go to dinner and see the fantastic show at The Bootlegger, which is known more to the locals than tourists. As we flew out the next day, we couldn’t stop smiling after this great getaway and wondering when we’ll be able to get away again for so much fun and excitement!
